Jonathan Gibson

My name is Jonathan Gibson, I’m from the beautiful coastal town of Port Aransas, TX. I've been a waterman, conservationist and fisherman my entire life, with my earliest memories rooted in the Texas salt flats. As a youngster, I spent countless hours walking these flats, chasing redfish and speckled trout, and spearfishing at the jetties. 
In my mid-twenties, I ventured beyond Port A. After time some exploring new places, my family and I found our perfect home in the vibrant town of San Marcos, TX. I now live here with my wonderful wife and our three amazing children. We’ve grown to love and deeply appreciate this community and the stunning spring-fed San Marcos River. 
 As someone who appreciates all styles of fishing its fly fishing and tying that has captivated me the most. I've spent the last few years as a “small water trophy chaser” chasing the biggest bass in our river systems. Always in pursuit of that fish of a lifetime. The only thing i enjoy more than chasing big fish is helping others experience the same feeling. Creating memories and relationships that can last a lifetime is one of the many things that makes being a fishing guide the best job in the world.
