Cassady Douglas
Cassady Douglas is a native Texan who grew up off the grid in Terlingua, where life revolved around the outdoors. Raised by his father, he spent his childhood exploring the banks of the Rio Grande, hiking the primitive trails of Big Bend Ranch State Park, and developing a lasting respect for wild places.
After moving to Central Texas, Cassady discovered fly fishing in a landscape defined by spring-fed rivers and abundant water, a striking contrast to the desert country where he was raised. His passion for the sport eventually led him to Durango, Colorado, where he spent several years chasing trout throughout the rivers of Southwest Colorado and sharpening his skills on mountain water.
Today, Cassady lives in San Marcos with his wife and their son, Otis. As a guide with All Water Guides, he enjoys introducing anglers to the rivers of Central Texas, whether they are picking up a fly rod for the first time or looking to refine their skills. For Cassady, the best days on the river are about slowing down, connecting with the water, and spending meaningful time outdoors.
